My prayer is for Chrissy

My prayer is for Chrissy, a young lady who is currently in Riley children s Hospital in Indianapolis. She is suffering from kidney reflex which has caused a chain of unseen events in just 8 weeks. The kidney reflex has caused high blood pressure which as caused her retinas do be inflamed and detached. She has become blind in one eye. She has had a reaction to the medication that has caused major blisters to her skin which they have had to move her to the burn unit to care for. She is wrapped from head to toe and it can take up to 6 hours to change her dressings and clean the skin. She is now also, waiting for a kidney transplant. Please prayer for the Lord's wisdom for doctors and for comfort for this 10 year litlle girl. She is really fighting this disease. Her hometown is 65 miles away. It has been difficult for her parents. We know God is in control and know there is a reason for her suffering.

Thank you to those who have been praying for Chrissy. There have been so many drastic changes on a daily basis that it has been hard to summarize and condense her progress and needs. I would like to post an update at this time. Your prayers have been heard. Please continue to pray for Jill and John (Chrissy parents), and for her siblings.for God to uplift them and continue to give them strength. As for Chrissy, the main concerns now are keeping dialysis going. There has been many complications with the port lines. There is still no production of urine. The doctors have had to move them several times to keep them open. The skin is healing and hoping to get her off of the ventelator. She is now off her feeding tube and has been able to accept small amounts of food. The eternal bleeding has gotten better. Her insides now need to heal like the outside. God is an awesome God and all things are possible through his son, Jesus Christ.

This is an update on an eleven year old little girl by the name of Chrissy Briles. I have left a couple of prayer request over the summer. It has been difficult to update her condition, because it changes daily. At this time , I request that your prayers be for the uplifting of her family through the next few days, they will be extremely difficult. Her parents, John and Jill, her brothers, Matthew, Stephen & Andrew, have made a decision to bring her home from the hospital for her passing to be with the Lord. They are working with hospice nurses for as long as needed in home. God is good and, loving and merciful and sometimes it is hard for us to understand the suffering of children, but I know that God has been glorified over the last 6 months during this journey with her illness. The virus, Sepsis, which she originally contracted, is a puzzling question as to where she contracted this deadly virus. The doctors at Riley's Children Hospital have never seen anything like it . Please pray for this family that they may have solitude and quiet in the days remaining with her at home. I can not imagine the emotional sadness they must feel knowing what is to come. But, Chrissy does know the Lord and will soon be in his presence. And what a glorious time it will be for her to no longer be suffering and to be able to have Jesus Christ wrap his loving arms around her and welcome her into His kingdom. Thank you all for those who have been praying for her. May God bless you always with happiness and good health. Thank you again for your prayers. Bobbie
